Baton Rouge, La. (June 30, 2009) – Baton Rouge Green announces their 60’s themed fundraising event “Green Paradise” being held on Friday, August 14, 2009. The event will be held at Avoyelles on the River (333 Third Street)from 6 p.m.to 9 p.m. “The Bench Bar Boogie Band” will provide entertainment as guests dance the night away to benefit the non-profit environmental tree-planting organization. Prizes will be given for the 60’s dance and costume contests. Appetizers will be provided and there will be a cash bar.
